Hey Guys,
Tomorrow i'll be doing some travelling before uni begins. I'll be going to Hong-Kong, England and France which I am very excited about. I currently reside in Melbourne and we are in summer so I thought i'd do a little post about what i'll be packing, the essentials that you could take so that you don't take too many heavy items when travelling to the northern hemisphere where the weather is a little cooler. I hope this is helpful! (:
Some essentials I packed were, a warm coat so that you stay toasty warm when checking out the many markets around London, two beanies, two pairs of pants, three tops - I chose one chiffon button up which i can wear underneath my sweater, and two other tops I can layer up (remember to also bring long sleeves so you can wear them underneath your shirts so that you're not freezing cold) Two sweaters and scarfs. This way you can easily switch up your looks and so that you're not packing too heavy and you'll still have plenty of space to do shopping!
Keep your make up in a bag so that they're not going everywhere inside your suitcase, a handy tip is to sticky tape the openings of any liquids or bottles you think might squirt open or else you'll get a not so happy surprise when you open your luggage. I packed light on my make-up but then again I don't usually put too much on my face either way, keeping less chemicals on your face is a good way to keeping it healthy or learn how to take better care of your face, this is important, wash well, tone and moisturise.

I kept my jewellery in a small pouch as well, a handy tip is to place your jewellery in zip lock/coin bags. This way you're chains don't get tangled up in each other.
Most of my pieces of jewellery are simple and would match any of my outfits that I put together. This is a good packing tip and makes it a lot easier to accessorise with simple and classic pieces.
On the flight and hand luggage.
Keeping a beanie and a scarf in your hand luggage is good for when you get off the plane and the weather is cooler than you anticipated. On long flights, although I am bringing a MacBook air, light and perfect for watching movies/ t.v shows on. A good way to pass the time or rest your eyes from staring at a screen is to settle into a book and personally I love reading so any recommendations please, leave a comment below. Once I have a book i'm intrigued by, I have to read til the end.
I hope these tips were helpful for all you future travellers, i'll have to make a signature to place at the end of my posts, i'll work on that so keep an eye out for that. I'll try to blog on my trip but if I can't I apologise. Whoever is reading this, I am truly thank-ful. It means a lot.
xx
